With the development of technology, the amount of time children spend on digital devices such as mobile phones and IPads has tripled in the last four years, according to a nationwide report that measures technology use among children 8 years old and younger.
This is a phenomenon we look around ourselves and can see. We can see it at the airport, at the restaurants and at home, children are focusing on screens instead of toys. At the same time, these digital devices do help parents to quiet their kids efficiently. From a new report of CNN(2017), children from low-income families spend an average of 3 hours and 29 minutes with digital devices per day. However, children from high-income families just spend 1 hour and 50 minutes per day on screens.
